Hey Gene -
The Tower tokens were actually sold at the tables. They don't have the £5 machines - small point since they got pretty scratched up sitting in the rack being taken out and counted for each shift. The Tower casino in Reading would punch a hole the token and provide a keychain for you at the cage after you bought the token at the table.

As I remember they were pretty nice.
