I seen your post on why collectors are quitting the hobby. sorry I'm late in answering.

I can not believe any collector would stop because there are too many of any kind of chips. It is too easy just to stop collecting one kind of chip. I think this reason is just an excuse.

People are always looking for a reason to stop one thing or another. If you look hard enough, you will find a reason to stop anything you are doing. Chip collecting would be one of the 1st things to go if you needed money. They are easy to turn into cash. I don't have to tell you, this is an expensive hobby. It is easy to come up with excuses, if you look. My guess is, the main reasons to stop is you find out the hobby is not for you or you need cash. A true collector will keep his collection even though he becomes inactive in it, unless he needs cash.

If LE's were a problem for me, I would collect old chips only. I think most true collectors would do the same. I think the main reason is CASH, CASH, CASH!!!
