Jim,
I only indicated that I thought that the auctions were misleading because they did not specifically mention that these chips are home made concoctions or fantasy chips or whatever. The use of licensed material could give the impression that these chips are something more than they actually are. All I asked was that the chips be accurately identified. Not everyone is a lawyer and carefully reads the description of every auction they bid on. Words like "CASINO" catch one's eye. If you believe that these auctions are not misleading, that is OK. I am not fooled by them, either. But I believe that others might be mislead. And I would certainly bet that there are people out there who bought these chips thinking that they were in some way affiliated with a casino or that they are licensed merchandise. I would also bet that many people would not buy these chips if they knew that they were unlicensed home made concoctions. Again, if anyone wants to collect these, be my guest. I have no problem with what anyone collects. Just be up front and honest in your auction descriptions.
