I can't stand grungy chips. I clean all of mine with armorall multipurpose auto cleaner and an extra soft(baby's) tooth brush, followed by a quick rinse and pat dry. Do not rub, some colors, mainly red, come off. Then spread out on a towel to finish drying, turning occasionally.
