The one with the blue inserts was the original one, Pete. It was replaced by the one with the multi-colored inserts. When it happened, I asked the cage personel why and they said "counterfeiting". I'll bet that due to the simple edge colors of the original $100, someone cashed in a chip with similar colors mixed into the middle of a stack, so they decided to go with a more complex color combination.
