For a long time, I hid and only read posts to this board, afraid to sound dumb with questions of my own and slightly out of place since I collect antique poker chips only, not casino chips. Then I got brave and sent out some queries and BAM discovered that this is a great group of people, with vast knowledge on all sorts of subjects. I soon tripled my knowledge of casino chips, learned about scams, pitfalls, "fantasy chips", illegals, ebay alertness, and have been given some chips for my classroom needs, and purchased chips with covered wagon illustrations. All you newbies and tyros out there, do not feel afraid to jump in with contributions to this board; you will be treated with respect and kindness.
