I'd say it depends on what kind of chips you're collecting. If you specialized in chips from Gardena and had a collection of 450 different, I'd say that would be a large collection. On the other hand 450 general chips, I'd say quite isn't quite in the large category yet, but certainly a respectable colletion for someone only collecting 8 months
I have about 2500 California chips and I'd consider that a medium-size collection. I have about 200 crest and seal chips and I'd consider that a small collection. I probably have 300 to 400 roulettes and again I'd call that small. Likewise my foreign, illegal and UFC collections I'd put in the small category since I have between 100 and 200 of each.
