Does anyone who REALLY BELIEVES that they have their Anti-Virus software working correctly NOT GET WARNINGS??? NEVER?

I had McAfee that came installed with an old computer - didn't know about dat files or updates (that is when I got the kak.worm)

When I PURCHASED Norton and started subscibing to the update service and ACTUALLY DID UPDATES - I started getting WARNINGS so often, I wondered how many I missed

At this time, I get between 1-30 warnings a month... things have slowed down a little since the klez-worm has quieted down... but Ed makes an excellent point -
~~ IF YOUR SOFTWARE WORKS - YOU SHOULD BE GETTING WARNINGS -
at least a couple a month! Would who are comfortable with Anti-Virus software agree?

One way to know if your software is working... - if you have to reformat your hard drive a couple times a year for some unknown reason and have never gotten a virus warning.... ummmm... you probably aren't protected.
