No one has a problem with you "doing what you gotta do" or doing "what ya want to do" to stay in the black when being willing to help folks get chips.

But if you can't "work within" the Chips@Face guidelines... just DON'T use that ChipList as your forum
Post your offers HERE - ANY time for ANY amount - you feel your expenses merit... even IF it is slightly above face.

But Ross's ChipList was put together with a specific, structured "save everyone a buck-or-two" guidelines.

Recently I was asked - by a very good friend - to help her sell her Mom's small LV collection.
She needed the money badly - and MOST of the chips we sold - HERE - on the ChipBoard - below TCR price, but above face value. I didn't even CONSIDER using the "Chips at Face" list to "market" these chips.

Also - concerning envelopes... I sympathize with you there! I can't buy #000 bubble envelopes in Prescott. I have to order them online and after shipping, pay between .21 - 29 cents per envelope. (and that's high)
I also use a home-office postage meter... meter strips and cartridges add another .2c per package... and the fee to simply HAVE a postage meter is about a buck a day... It gets expensive for me...
but even when I add .60c postage... I think (I HOPE ) I'm STILL under a buck.

and I agree with Tery below... maybe we need a SEPARATE THREAD "re-explaining" how the ChipList works... so people aren't confused about how it works. Paul Sax??? PLEASE do us the honor of starting a new "refresher" thread??
