Oh yes John, they make all my friends go home.
I really have been there three times, maybe four, since the bingo hall opened years ago. Once to see the place (and get a token) back in the 80's. Since the new place has opened, three times for buffet.
One family buffet for Mom and the small group, cost me more than I have wagered there since the casino opened. (hey that guy really IS cheap)
But the reason I went to the other buffets is comps from friends who stay until wee hours of the morning, when the tables close. They have also been known to take off for "lunch" and play 21 for a couple of hours. I even got a free jacket, on one of the players promos.
Now I'm forced to go to the casino and actually plunk down my hard earned cash for some roulette chips. I wonder how many casinos will have roulette as soon as they can, and find that it's not a big money maker, which means pulling the tables to use the space for something else. I better get the chips the first six months.
Yes, I have dumped money at Oneida, midnight trip from the bar, eight of us piled in a van, and we stayed until they "closed the tables". Also a few bus trips to Ho-Chunk back when I actually had some time off of work. Since then "The Pot" opened in Milwaukee and most people don't bother with a 127 mile ride to Ho-Chunk or something just short of that to Green Bay.
Bring on the roulette!
Enough of the same old chips...
