But Charles, If some of that issue of LE that left the cage the first day is returned to be cashed in (which many here in Las Vegas have in the past few months)In some cases those are put out on the tables for play or they are held in the cage until some "collector" comes along and asks "Have you got any older LE's", then out they come again. If the casino closes THEN they can be considered obsolete. Or in the case of the early Lady Luck when the casino did an actual redemption and rendered them null and void they are obsolete.
In the meantime all these many issues floating around cannot be considered obsolete (i.e. dead and gone), but retired (meaning they are gone BUT can pop back up at anytime.
