My son and I have our tickets for the convention with SW Airlines. I was also trying to buy a RT ticket just for myself from Tucson to Reno for the chip show in September. Unfortunately, SW is only taking reservations up to Aug. 6 right now. I talked to a very nice agent named Eduardo and told him I had concerns about rising airline prices due to the increase in fuel costs. He said that so far the airlines haven't been impacted but if and when they are, SW Airlines' policy is to find other ways to cut expenses to compensate for fuel cost increases instead of having to charge more for their flights.

Delta Airlines prices have already increased. I went to Reno the end of last month and paid $174.50 RT. I priced it for my September trip three weeks ago and the price was $185. Just two days ago I priced it again and it's up to $205. I should have snapped it up when it was $185.
