The good news is these were from my friend's Mom's collection - and she gets the money. Most of the stuff we sold on the CB... but there was a handful of chips (and 3 tokens) that I didn't know what they'd bring... so we put them on

You know - last night I was thinking that because she sold me what I wanted at face as "my commission" (3 chips @ $11 face/ valued about $50) - if I had kept that token (and I considered it - it is kind of neat)... I'd have unknowingly really short-changed her.
So I'm glad we did what we did with it because she really needs the money.

But I'm still curious... was this a fluke auction? (two bidders thinking $50 would ensure enough of a buffer to get the token? I have a $75 slot card like that OUCH!)

Same with the $2's... $40 for the pair...

Token people???? Any words of wisdom here?
