A Little bit of an explanation.

Most of the Northern Michigan Indian Casinos had TWO sets of chips in their racks. One set for American Currency and one set for Canadian Currency. Since Canada was just a few miles over the bridge, Many customers were Canadian and they used Canadian Currency to buy in. This use of chips illiminated a need for monetary exchange between Countries. Upon cashing in they would receive the Currency that they bought in with. Whenever we made a trip north we had to make sure we had Canadian Money with us in case their were NEW chips out.

Hope this helps!
