It'll be one card for all games in the future. Put your card into the slot machine and play... swipe your card at the Black Jack, Roulette, Keno, Craps, Bingo and Poker tables then enter your bet into the keypad at your seat. Casinos will never have to worry about employee theft, roulette harvesting or lines for Limited Edition chips again!
If I remember right, chips are required because you have a tangible reference to see how much you've won/lost. But with most states with casinos, lotteries and marriages , the majority of our citizens have accepted gambling as acceptable behavior. I'm surprised someone hasn't already implemented a single card to be used for all transactions at a casino... check in, give the person at the counter $5,000 and watch it disappear as your stay in your room, eat at their restaurants, sit at the slot machine, get a massage, buy your children a beanie baby and go to one of the shows.
The simplicity is available in technology at least 5-10 years old. It would be cost effective and efficient. Just think of the cost savings for the casinos!
