You weren't around when ICG started slabbing chips. They had their own unidentified experts grading chips, rejecting chips for "excessive cleaning," treating casino chips like coins are considered by coin collectors. Their so-called "experts" didn't know that cleaning a casino chip doesn't devalue it like it does a coin in the respective hobbies involved. They were sticking their nose under our tent to try to milk us for grading and slabbing fees.
It's been said before in this forum, one way or another. Not in my hobby, not under my watch!
