As a former coin collector, slot tokens are just to similar to coins. There are so many things that I did not like about the coin collecting hobby (slabs, grading, and cheating dealers to name a few) that I would rather distance myself from anything that reminds me of a coin. And also, of all the things that you can collect from a casino, slot tokens are the least interesting to look at. No colors. Just silver or brass, usually. I know that there are colorful Chipco tokens and tokens with inlays, but they are the exception.
