Anyone looking into insurance I would recommend you make sure they are licensed in your state. When I looked into them in Nevada I was told by the Insurance Commission that they did not have a license. They were not registered with the Secretary of State & are not recognized to sell in Nevada. I have been told they have sold insurance in the state though. If you have a loss & have trouble collecting who would help you? Maybe others on here know more about insurance. This should be looked into. I had this company checked in to & I decided not to go with them. They can not sell in California either.
The owner stated he is having his attorney in "Arkansawers" draft up papers. This was last year. His ignorance scarred me. When I found out they could not sell in Nevada this really got me.
I understand it is best to go through your homeowners in the first place. Additional insurance though can be costly but worth it. Better to pay more than to be scammed & get nothing.
