I guess it really depends on quantity and the numbers of potential buyers. The seller here states the quantity:

If the chips are selling at the top of the price range then this is a "steal" at $3,000. The math works out at $19,500 retail value. If all the chips are resold at full Chip Rack value, as given by the seller.

If the rack sells at $3,000 considering the chips only as a purchase the average is $6 per chip. WHAT A STEAL???

But the question remains? With this many chips showing up what happens to their "market value"?
