Jim, I don't know you but I read the report. There was no evidence. Mel was convicted based on your's and the boards opinion. You had no hard proof that Mel was guilty. Just dean's word that Mel did not tell him and Mel's word that he did. Just cause they met with you does not mean they are not lying. Whalen is out of this he made them and sold them to a few people. That's not in dispute nor is it a crime. Yes resonable doubt is not required but If I had been on your jury it would have been for me to put somebodys reputation on the line and expell them, you would have had a hung jury If I had been on it. This is just my opinion.
