membership # printed next to any contributor's name would be a good thing to consider for the future?

When I first saw Mel's name, I was surprised. My immediate reaction was "this shouldn't be in our magazine!" After reading the tribute, I felt that it did belong in the magazine.

I never knew or dealt with Bruce. After reading numerous tributes to him, on the Chipboard and in the CC&TN, I regret that I'll never have the chance to know him. Each of our relationships helps to make us the person that we are. Mel's friendship helped to make Bruce the person that he was....and that person was loved and respected. Bruce's memory shouldn't be insulted by this conflict. Let him rest in peace.
