If we want to judge ethics, which is LESS ethical:
1) a seller lists a price and a shipping and offers things for sale at that price. He demands to be paid what was bid
2) a buyer knows full well what the price is, but decides to ask for a discount. When that buyer doesn't get the discount she wants she ddecides to see whether dragging the seller's name through the mud in public will embarrass him into lowering his stated fees
Teryy -- I know you intention was to get what you deserved. But what you actually did was use this board, and your friends on this board, to re-negotiate a price that you had already agreed to pay on your behalf. if you ask me, that's a bit less ethical than the shipping you complain about. If I were the seller I might reconsider selling to people who plan to use those tactics to back out of their promise.
No personal offense intended -- but there are at least two ways to look at every story. I would honestly like to hear soem feedback on this point. I particularly welcome inteligent discourse from the many who will disagree. Just trying to get a dialogue started.
