During the 80s whenever I visited Las Vegas I would make the rounds of casinos both on the Strip and Downtown picking up their decks of playing cards. I got them from the Cashiers Cage. I collected 30 decks from miscellaneous casinos before I just lost interest. I know, I know, that was a real stupid thing to do but who knew that there would actually be people who would want to collect old casino playing cards? Where was my crystal ball when I needed it? Anyway, while cleaning out an old desk I came across the decks and really took a good look at them. Only four of them are drilled. None of the others have been drilled or notched and all of them have been used on the tables. One of them is from the Fremont(see scan). I'm thinking of selling or auctioning the decks off but first I'd like to know if the UNLV Fremont deck is something "special" and/or if some of the other ones might be as well. I have no idea what they're worth and would appreciate your help. Please email me with any information you might have. Thank you. Kitty R-5359
