Instead of scanning the article that Paul Donahue provided a link to .... how about someone providing sans of some of the chips from the NJ Riviera? Then we can email the writer with the scans and put to rest the "allegations" that was quoted in the article ...

"Ben Marden, owner of the Cotton Club in Manhattan - built the state-of-the art Riviera for more than $300,000 in 1937. Allegations of illegal gambling dogged Marden until he closed the doors of the successful club with the outbreak of World War II."
