The guy that deals tokens mainly is Ed Hoffman. Super guy. His friend has Sheobox across from Commercial on that main street through town. Forget name!
I met the past mgr of the Stock & Comm. He was interested in chips. If there were any he would of helped me I feel. He did once & took me to the cage at Stockmens. He had the cashier show me a chip she recently had taken in. It was the rare yellow $5 C&J bull chip. I tipped her real well & she gave me the chip. Only chip I ever got out of either place. I don't believe any are around. If so wouldn't they at least have something in the display in Stockmens? There are some great ashtrays.
IF you want to learn some history see Hal at the Pack & Post I think it is called right down a few doors from Pioneer. Tell him I sent you.
Good luck finding those Pioneer chips & let me know when you do.
Someday I will write a little book on those casinos around there with all the notes & pictures I have.
I did get 10 to 15 ea. of the Ranchinn Horseshoe mold. ALways a nice trader to have. I found a darker variant on the $5 so check yours when you get them!
