First let me say thanks to Neal and Marty for the great website.
I have been using a website for awhile that allows you to go back in time and view websites that are no longer around from years past like the one below from Chequers from 1996. The site is great. I invite everyone to check it out and if you remember a website that is no longer around please share it here. So everyone can enjoy it...
I have been trying for sometime to find the old compuserve message board. But no luck.
2 things to remember...Some images will not show up and if you visit message boards the page will be visible but you cannot read the actual post.
go to www.archive.org and enter the url in the Wayback machine. Enjoy...I know I have..

New Tunica Mississippi Casino Underway
An update on Tunica by John Sorrell, R-2165
Minneapolis-based Grand Casinos Inc. have invested $450 million in the first phase of their new Tunica, Mississippi casino - buying 2,200 acres of land, building and equipping the 140,000 square foot casino, the state's largest, and a 188 room hotel that will open in September. The first phase also covers a 90-acre lake being dug and an 18 hole golf course slated to open next June. Yet to come: a child care center, teen arcade, entertainment barge with two theaters, two more hotels, a conference center, a water park and an outlet mall.
Three covered walkways lead into the Grand, each reflecting a different interior decor. The first floor is divided into three themes: Western, New Orleans and Victorian San Francisco. The entire second floor is decorated as an outdoor garden and features four distinct restaurants. The 600 seat Celebration Buffet is bright and colorful with American and international decorations. At Magnolia's, designed as a Southern country house, diners can sit on a porch, in a kitchen or the living room. Roxy's combines the characteristics of an outdoor atmosphere with a 1950s diner. For the BBQ Shack, "we were told to design a restaurant that looked like two guys retired and opened a barbecue stand in an old gas station in a tiny rural town." The BBQ Shack, marked by a bright red 1932 pickup parked outside, has four rooms, decorated as a general store, bait and tackle shop, town square and old-fashioned toy shop.
In all, Grand executives said they spent an estimated $7 million to $10 million on art, glasswork, antiques and accessories to decorate the casino and its seven restaurants.

Chipco Announces Website
Chipco debuts new website!
Chipco now has their WWW website online. Like many of us it will be 'under construction' for awhile, but the electronic chipping community is very glad to see Chipco online.
Currently the primary functioning area is the Chipco Pick of the Week and the Pick of the Week Archive. The Pick of the Week by the way will be selected by Chipco for its beauty AND collectability appeal. (a section with chip collectors clearly in mind)
It's worth a visit!
