I remember when they tore down the wall between The Mint & Binion's. My friend, Milt Johnson, also a chipper, knew a construction worker on the job. He and his buddies, filled their lunch boxes with old chips & tokens that were stashed in the walls when The Mint was built. There were obsolete chips from all over downtown LV, Four Queens, Horseshoe, Fremont, Golden Gate, Golden Nugget, etc. He traded about 50 of them to me, which I still have. Milt moved back to NC a year later and passed away soon after.
