Thankfully I DON'T have a virus...
old pc has hardware failure - can't read, can't write, can't network...can't communicate.
I have all this data on my drive that we can't get transfered because old and new computers won't network...

The CD ram on old pc won't write (we've ordered one... everything is slow coming to Prescott )... and new pc doesn't have a zip drive...

And to make things worse, my HD is generating bad blocks by the minute...
New pc is ready (only thing I have configured is internet - FINALLY) but we can't get my critical data off the old computer.

We'll get it... there's options...
Like a lot of things, all it takes is money
(like buying hardware I'll never use again - or paying someone an outrageous fee to get in here with the equipment to do it...

But everytime we hook up a device to transfer the data... old pc refuses to acknowledge it.
Yikes...

I have tons of "thanks you's due", but manually typing in all the email addresses from old pc is on my tasklist for "later"
