I love those games. There used to be a bar called Honest Johns right next to the "Wolrd's Largest Gift Shop" on the corner of Sahara and the Strip. They had one of htose machines, and rumor had it that the owner's father (or grandfather maybe) had invented the machine. Every time I went in I'd blow 20-bucks on it, never really expecting to win anything but occasionally coming out ahead. One night this guy at the bar was making fun of me for playing it, and I explained that it was probably the stupidest game in the world -- but highly addictive. I dared him to try it. Two hours later he was still playing, cursing me evey time he broke another $20 bill at the bar.
