I usually stay at the Trop myself for the convention as I find it much easier to keep bringing things back and forth from my room (especially Slot Glass). It is also nice not to have to lug your chips around with you all day or even to just get up to the room to take a rest. It is nice how you can stay in the rear tower and the show is only an elevator ride away.

With that being said, Bellagio is by far the nicest Hotel / Casino I have ever stayed at. Sure the rooms are bigger at the Venition, and if you want trendy nightclubs, the Mandalay Bay may be what your looking for, but for my money I will take the Bellagio anyday. I have stayed at dozens of properties in Vegas over the years and I have never had the Service, Food, Comfort, or all around opulance that the Bellagio serves up. You just cant beat the view of the fountians with the music playing in your room. The buffet is the best in town (with the exception of the Sterling Brunch at Ballys). The Service is second to none, and the whole place just overwhelms with beauty and class. heck, I think I may have just taked myself out of another stay at the trop.
