Gene - One thing that I have heard that may or may not be true. I heard that in Mississippi the casinos must post a cash bond for the value of all chips issued. This supposedly protects the rights of chip holders if the casino goes bankrupt. It also means that as chips walk out the door the casinos must not only buy new chips but must also post more bond which ties up their cash. This would be a strong incentive to stop chips from leaving their property.
