There were 4 orders placed for this style of 50$ chip. The first order, December of 1966 and a reorder in 1967, used an off colored orange background. This was probably a printing error as the color did not match the value chips made in the same time period.
The yellow background, more closely matching the value chips, was made in two orders dated 1968 and 1969.
