Andy and Larry (in my opinion) have mastered the "perfect scan" and I find their scans are consistantly "better" (in color, clarity PLUS small file size) than most. (including mine )

What software you using guys?

As far as the rest... I just bought an EpsonPerfection 1260 - 48 bit, 1200 x 2400 DPI
Easy to hook-up, easy to use, light weight & compact. Cost was around $100 with a $40 rebate. (COOL! )

For software, I am using a 1938 version of Adobe PhotoDeluxe. The program is easy and basically does what I need, but I need to upgrade to SOMETHING.

I usually buy most of my hardware at Staples.
