His response does not merit a reply, except to repeat myself. I have advised him that he was in error and that it should not happen again. He has an avenue to check on the validity of any chips and should he choose to ignore my (and others) advisement, then we are all at liberty to act more forcefully without repeating the step I took.
Also, the fact that I (and others) have sent a question is (are) now visable in the auction (which only has a few hours to run). We cannot be the full-time protectors of every single bidder on eBay. Each of them need to do a little bit more than just bid, and looking at Feedback and email traffic is perhaps the least of that additional responsibility.
That is why I do not think a reply is in order.
So, I hear you are retired. You going to take up a hobby or something?
