Gene: That's the crux of my problem with Greektown's actions! I have only worked in New Jersey casinos and I never observed my casino bar a customer because they won too much. I don't remember the details but it might have been a regulatory issue where they couldn't bar a player unless there was a criminal act committed by the player or the player was on the State's exclusion list. The casino dealt with the "undesirable" or "unprofitable" player by simply cutting off their freebees and, if a table game was involved, putting special limits on the player's action to discourage their play. So to answer your question, I've never seen my employers throw out players because they weren't profitable.
