my statement was no more arrogant than the statement I was responding too.

And of course most of the things you point too were actually imposed upon my generation by yours so lets put the blame where it belongs.

And I won't debate drug prohibition with you, but your generation couldn't prevent drug abuse before it occurred because because drug abuse was widespread even before your generation.

Whatever evil you may feel is associated with "drugs" is probably just as commonly associated with alcohol and widespread alcohol abuse predates even you.
