I agree with you on any type of chip repair. But, I think you go to far by suggesting that the use of mineral oil to restore some of the color is a form of repair. Next you will try to ban chip cleaning. I clean all dirty chips that I get and if they are faded I will apply a little mineral oil. I do this only to the chips in my collection. My traders do not get touched as I leave that up to whoever gets them. From the posts I have read, I believe most chippers feel the same way.
