I stayed there in 1973 and at its sister hotel, the Helio Isla. They had this strange parrot upstairs that had seizures every 10 minutes or so. Kinda creepy. I remember it as being a nice place, but then again, I was only 6.

I'm not sure, but I think that terrible fire they had there in the 80's was at this hotel, although it was a different name by then.

I found the $5 chip on eBay, and won it.
