I agree it would be nice to break things down into logical sub-categories. I was only suggesting that you think about a list of categories that are not ambiguous and overlapping. Home sets, casino chips by region, ivory, these all seem sufficiently clear and distinct. But did you read the threads when Archie and I discussed our differing opinions of obsolete? That's all we need is an obsolete category on ebay !

And of course all the categories in the world won't keep you from sifting through debris you'd rather avoid. Do you see how many strikes and tokens and slot cards are still listed in the casino chips category? Maybe people should have to attend classes or pass a basic IQ test before they can list on ebay !
