Re: Maybe!

I have to second Andy's opinion. When I started collecting Palsm chips, i had planned to get all denominations on the music chips and chips I particularly liked, and probably up to $25 on the others. I later changed my mind, prompted primarily by the Palms release. With 5 pieces of artowrk at their disposal, I would have loved to have seen the Palms issue one each of a $1, $2.50, $5, $25, aand $100 -- I would have definitely bought the whole set. When they release 5 each in $5s, $25s, and $100s I decided that there was no way I was going to spend that amount of cash on one release. Since then, I've decided that all I realy want from The Palms is one version of each piece of artwork. I'm keeping both my $5 and $25 Sugar Ray, because they are different. But I've cashed in hgher denominations of other chips wherethe artwork is the same, and I only picked up the $5 Ozzy chip.

This is not meant as a criticism of Gene's program. It's simply meant to answer the question as to why some people might not be very excited about highr denomination Palms chips. I think Gene has made his reasoning for his releases fairly clear, and I think he runs a successful program that has been enormously succesful. I just can't shell out 130 bucks for three of nearly the same chips every time he has a new release.
