Donald- I think this is just a case of "not for you." I often turn down great chips from far better properties than the Hard Rock because they aren't for me. And I often wonder why so many people not into rock collect Hard Rock issues.
Let me make myself clear -- I respect anyone whollects Hard Rock chips, regardless of age or taste in music, so long as they're collecting what they like. Maybe they like the artwork. Maybe they like standing in line. Some people enjoy the sense of community. I have met some great people on Hard Rock lines that made the 6 hours for Barris chips worthwhile. If you like it, good for you.
But I am a "Supposed adult" (to paraphrase you) who has made his fairly successful living in the rock business. I like having a casino that caters to my lifestyle. Yes, I'm 34, and a lawyer by trade, but I'm far more recognizable as a "rocker" to most people based on my tattoos, mohawk, etc. So I like having the Hard Rock to indulge people like myself -- freaks with a little money.
All I'm saying is that the Hard Rock does what it does. I am its target audience. And if people who don't understand it dislike what it releases -- well they're entitled to an opinion, but that opinion is silly. The Hard Rock serves its market.
Sorry if that was a little long. I'm a little buzzed.
