I have not been to a major league game since the 1994 strike and have only watched a few innings total on TV during that time.

Prior to the strike, I was a Dodger fan for 42 years and attended hundreds of games -- treated family, friends and business associates to many games (even rented luxury boxes on a few occasions). Tommy Lasorda is a family friend and we had either lunch or dinner with him at least once every visit to the Bay area from 1985 to 1994.

I said in 1994 that if they went on strike and ruined the World Series they would never get another dime of my money. I am way beyond bitter to "just don't give a damn anymore". I'll watch the insect channel before I watch baseball.

These days, my fan interest is primarily college football and my adopted "home" team, the California Golden Bears (having a good season for a change ).
