My old "IBM scans-slower-than-a-parade-of-Sunday-drivers" FINALLY bit the dust. Am heading to Staples to get me a new one.

I WANT NICE SHARP CRISP DETAILS AND CLOSEUPS!!
I WANT TRUE COLORS!
THIS TIME I WANT SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T SCAN SO SLOW, I FIND MYSELF RUNNING TO STARBUCKS (in Phoenix) BETWEEN SCANS!
AND I DON'T WANT TO SPEND A TON OF MONEY (because they've gotten so cheap)

Suggestions????????

This what my old one did... has increasingly gotten worse (streaked backgrounds, light inconsistancies)
And by the way... I NEEEEEEED roulettes like these!

And THIS is what I get now (BAAAAAAAAD_SCANNER) So... any "what's hot" or "what's NOT" would be appreciated!
