I tip a buck if they search for a chip for me. I did that at Mohegan Sun when the cashier found an unusuall nice Casino of the Sky Grand Opening chip.

Now valet parking, I tip nothing going in, and two bucks coming out. I used to valet park (albeit in Salt Lake City), and that seemed to be the most common way people handled it.
