Pete, to attempt to answer one of your questions, I think that Mark was wrong to order the Pai Gow chips and I think that it was wrong for Rene to buy as many of the March Madness chips to corner the market. However, I see nothing wrong with Rene ordering and paying for promotional chips for his own chip show. How is that different from Bill Akeman ordering chips for his show a few years ago? Rene had chips made for his show lastyear. I bought a set. I don't remember any flak about that. I also think that Rene was planning to offer multiple chips to collectors for $5 each. As usual, we would have a choice of buying the chips or not. I see nothing wrong with Rene making a few bucks on the chips. This is how he earns his living and I don't think he is going to make a fortune on the show or the chips. I truly believe that Rene is trying to do something good for collectors and at the same time make enough to pay a few bills. Isn't this free enterprise and the American way?
