I jumped on this the 1st day it was offered. The number one reason was the donation to the building fund. I also felt it would help promote a L.V. chip show. Maybe a little ego was in the mix. But as Allan said, I have been there before.
I was sad to see the amount of negative posts this issue has generated, but I too had concerns with some of the things being posted. My concerns have been addressed. I have been assured the chips are and will be gaming compliant. I have been assured the building fund will receive its full $1,000 donation at the show.

I can not address the NIS concerns but I understand them.

The chips are being made for a legitimate casino promotion.
Small chip shows do not make much if any money. If we want chip shows we have to let the operators show a profit. I hope the chips sell out so we can have other club members honored with a chip at future shows.
The collectors that want these chips will find a way to get them.

I love chip shows and spend a lot of time renewing friendships. I hope to see everyone there. I am sorry to say, I will only be at the show for the 1st day.
