I had to say it was really anybody fight intil the last couple rounds. It was clear that Oscar is a true boxer in ever sense of the word. I ready Vargas very well...and did a good job of not letting him get too close. Clearly Vargas had the muscle, but it was not match for the mind of a world class boxer. De La Hoya is not only a true gentleman, but in my mind worth of the boxing hall of fame.

I totally enjoyed this fight. I was rooting for Oscar the whole time and have to admit i was nervous about it. But have no fear, Oscar was a smart fighter and that along with those left jabs got the job done.
