As much as I love the sarcasm (I consider it America's greatest art form), I would really like to know what it is that bothered you. The Hard Rock can't control what time people get there, or how many are in line. When they don't release enough of a chip, people complain, but everyone seems to want a chip that's rare enough for them to feel they've gotten something. You managed to get a chip that's got some value to it (either financial, or simply aesthetic). If oyu're simpyl a collector, you shouldbe glad you have a chip. If you're in this for business, you will probably get a lot of cash for that $100 chip.
Pretty much everyone on line got a $100 chip. Would you have preferrred they let people buy 2 each and you would have been shut out? Or would you have preferred they issued 2000 of them? I heard plenty of people complaining that they issued far TOO MANY of the $25s. So they kind of evened it out, heavy on the $5s and $25s, light but not too light on the $100s. It just makes me wonder what your idea of an ideal release would be.
Again, I'm not being critical here. I loved the tone of your post, and Mike's follow-up. I just can't believe the way people seem to complain no matter what HR does. I would really love to hear someone's idea of a perfect Hard Rock release.
