I have seventy-one (71) of these smooth blue clay (?) chips (please see photo below). They were found in a local dump several years ago in a small generic bank bag. When the bag was opened they were all stuck together with some type of syrup and were left that way until I cleaned most of the salvageable ones (23) with a mild soap & water mixture a few days ago. My wife suggested using a pottery oil on the ones that I cleaned and the one on the right in photo below is an example of a cleaned & oiled chip. The one on the left is an example of one of the "better" ones that were not cleaned or oiled. I am going to destroy about forty-five of these as they are either chipped, cracked, cigarette burned and/or so smooth you can not read the "Ernie's" on them.
Also found at the dump, in the same large box that the aforementioned bank bag was in, were some "Ernie's Bar" & some "EPG" chips still in the original (but sad condition) "Mason & Co." boxes... their "story" will have to wait until next week.
I'd like to trade these on my VANCOUVER, WA chip wants. Thank you! Ron "VANChipper"
