If Mr. Stone throws in some commemorative scotch whiskey with these chips, I'm sure the reaction of the collecting community would soften!
Actually, if there is any distinctive difference in the chips or their packaging, I think alot of this brouhaha would vanish. I know Mr. Stone said the chips couldn't be altered without State Approval---but what about the inserts? By putting in revised inserts at minimal cost, alot of people would be happier. Also, Mr. Barris didn't put the year with every one he signed in 1997. if he puts the year with each one as 2002, it would make these in some way more separate.
